The recently conducted SR Congress was unprecendented in drawing participants from interest groups both from the private and public sector. In support to the various initiatives and partnerships being undertaken this webpage serves as a medium in advocating the role of small ruminants as one major component and source of household income in the countryside, and an emerging industry to reckon with in terms of investment opportunities. It is also the aim of this webpage to sustain the interest of stakeholders and be a portal to small ruminants information related to the industry.
Features of this webpage include the officers of the federation and the directory of regional coordinators and breeders' directory to strengthen the linkage and networking among stakeholders and to facilitate sourcing out of quality stocks. The proceedings of the 2nd SR Congress are highlighted to provide browsers a glimpse of the event. Another feature is the inclusion of the Small Ruminants Road Map and its interim board that outlines the priority thrust of the industry developed and implemented in joint cooperation between the private and government sector. News and events is also another feature that provide the latest information related to the industry.
