II. The Livestock and Poultry Industries in 2004
In 2004, the total value of agricultural production was P 784 billion pesos. This was higher by 18 % than the production in 2003, which was worth P 662 billion.
Of the total value, livestock production accounted for P145 billion while poultry production accounted for P115 billion. On an aggregate basis, livestock and poultry production accounted for a third of the total value of agriculture production in 2004.
